Join our dynamic team at Smart Analytica as a Senior Hadoop Solutions Architect. In this pivotal role, you'll lead the design and implementation of scalable, high-performance data architectures using Hadoop-based Cloudera CDP on-prem solutions. Your expertise will ensure data availability, scalability, and reliability across Hadoop clusters, driving impactful business decisions.
Collaborate & Deliver: Engage closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized big data solutions that drive business value.
Optimize Performance: Fine-tune Hadoop systems for optimal performance and scalability. Maintain thorough documentation to ensure reproducibility and reliability of data processes.
Integrate Systems: Oversee the seamless integration of Hadoop with other data systems and tools. Implement robust data security, privacy, and governance frameworks within the Hadoop ecosystem
Mentor & Lead: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Drive initiatives to enhance Hadoop capabilities and operational efficiency.
Communicate Effectively: Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.
Technical Expertise: Extensive proficiency in Hadoop ecosystems, including HDFS, Ozone, Kudu, Spark Streaming, YARN, Hive, and Spark.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and project management skills, with a track record of managing large-scale data projects.
Performance Tuning: Demonstrated ability to optimize Hadoop systems for performance and scalability
Client Engagement: Excellent client engagement and presentation skills.
Operational Experience: Experience with Hadoop administration and optimization across various operating environments.
Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to manage failures in production settings.
Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with reporting tools, data integration tools, and ETL processes.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with business users and cross-functional teams.
Academic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cloudera Certified Architect, Hortonworks Data Platform Certified) are a plus.
